Carla Tarini I listened to a lot of Santana growing up but never knew anything about the master behind the music. Now I do, thanks to Ben Lev’s engaging book! As a novice-high Spanish learner it was fun to read a 104-page story all the way through.

Anne Briotet I read this in one sitting because it is so interesting! It's very comprehensible, and I learned so much about this artist. I think students of Spanish will enjoy learning about his life and music. After I read this book I spent the afternoon listening to his music, especially songs mentioned in this reader.
