I was immediately drawn to this book by its cover and found the story to be equally engaging. I read the present tense version in one sitting, which was a rewarding experience as a novice-high learner. This book has a great balance of dialogue, action, and narration. Now that I know the story, I am looking forward to rereading it in the past tense.
